Housewarming Gifts

The difficulty with a housewarming gift is that most new homes already have the obvious things. What they rarely have is good china.

A fine bone china mug or cup and saucer is small enough to give without imposing, useful enough to be reached for daily, and handsome enough to leave out on the counter. It suits a first HDB flat as naturally as a finished home.
