Botanica Cream carries the Otava botanical print on a warm ivory ground — trailing brown stems, cream-veined leaves and small flowers in cornflower blue, blush pink and soft gold, drawn with the density of an old botanical plate. The cream base gives it an antique, lived-in warmth, and of the three Botanica grounds it is the one that flatters a wooden table or a warm-toned kitchen best.

The pattern belongs to a family. The Botanica design also appears on a powder-blue and a near-black (Noir) ground, and across mug, coffee-cup and espresso shapes, so Botanica Cream sits naturally alongside its companions — whether you are building a considered place setting or collecting the pieces you love one at a time.

It is made from fine bone china, the material that has defined English tea and coffee ware for two centuries. Held to the light, the walls carry the faint translucency only true bone china gives; in the hand, the mug feels lighter than its size suggests, with a smooth, cool glaze and a handle shaped to sit against the fingers.

The silhouette is tall and gently tapered — a little over 10 cm high, drawing inward from a wide 8.6 cm rim to a narrower foot.
